Great purchase!
February 8, 2024
After much research and reading countless reviews about this stroller I decided to make the purchase and have no regrets! We live on a farm so we needed a stroller with all wheel suspension to get through our rough terrain. I really like that the seats recline almost flat for my kids to nap, and the footrests are adjustable. The 50lbs per seat is amazing which will allow this stroller to be one of our long term daily strollers. I also used this on a bike/walking trail and was so smooth and easy to push twin toddlers.

Heavy but moves around well
September 11, 2023
Overall a great product, would recommend and we enjoy it. Great for one of us to take out 2 kids (3 1/2 yr, 6 mo). Random issue that we have: we use our garage for cars, so there is no room to just wheel the stroller into it, so we have to fold and carry the stroller into our house, and that gets heavy/cumbersome/annoying. Not nearly a bad enough issue to not have the product vs an alternative, but it's the reality. If you have a free garage bay that you can just leave the stroller, you'll love this product even more.
Pros
  • maneuverability given the size, smoothness, customization of seat settings per kid
Cons
  • Weight, carrying around in folded position

Best stroller
April 15, 2022
After having my last baby I needed a good durable double stroller and this was it. I did research for a few months and I went back and forth trying to decide but this was the absolute best choice for my family. The kids and my husband love the stroller too! It does take up quite a bit of space but it’s so easy to push and convenient that it makes up for it. Best stroller and my purchase at Albee baby was amazing, I had to call customer service before my order and they were so prompt and helpful. I love my stroller and I will definitely order from Albee baby again!!!

Must-Have
September 3, 2021
We initially thought we'd survive with the single version of this stroller and a riding board added for our toddler, but that was a no go. (The board in the back makes that configuration impossible to push without stubbing your toes.) Other friends told me to avoid the "stacked" version of the double, so we went for this and have loved it! It's very easy to get each kid in and out and does a great job of making them each comfortable. There are multiple recline levels, shade positions to keep them well-covered, easy-to-use windows in the top panels and optional foot rests to elevate their feet. The basket underneath has plenty of room, though I wish that Baby Jogger also made a parent console for the handlebars (we bought an alternate brand that works with this stroller, because a place to put cups and keys is 100% necessary). Of note: you can also attach an infant car seat to one side of the stroller and still use the other side for a toddler. Just make sure to buy the correct Baby Jogger adapters and you're good.

We absolutely love our stroller! I was a little hesitant because I had never heard of this company, but I am so happy we bought from them. Military discount, no sales tax applied, free shipping and our stroller arrived in two days, TWO!! Best customer service and our stroller is beautiful. Thank you, thank you, thank you Albee Baby!
Pros
  • Fast shipping, beautiful stroller, goes over bumps smoothly, seats go almost all the way back, sun shade covers almost completely, foot stand kicks up for easy diaper changes/naps and to access basket underneath
Cons
  • None

Super impressed!
July 23, 2021
I purchased this for my newborn and 1.5 year old so I had something to walk around the neighborhood or jog with. I'm super happy with the purchase as my 1.5 year old seems to love sitting in it for extended periods of time while we're out and about and the newborn does great in his carseat with the carseat attachment. The wheels are perfect for just about any terrain and speed, which is the main reason I bought this. I had considered getting both a BOB jogger and a smaller, more lightweight umbrella-type double but I really didn't want to have to store two strollers. This is MUCH lighter than the BOB and is really the perfect hybrid between a regular day-to-day stroller and a jogger. My only wish is that I could have the snack tray on the one side while the car seat attachment is on but it doesn't seem to fit both. Regardless of that, I'm still excited to be able to use this stroller for years to come!

Baby Jogger GT2 Double
January 16, 2021
This stroller is hands down the best side by side on the market. It is the complete package- specious, easy to maneuver, easy fold, not to heavy, comfortable, practical. Baby Jogger offers a lot of accessories to make the ride even more convenient. They didn’t have this stroller in the color I wanted anywhere but Albee Baby is always stocked.

Perfect for two kiddos
July 1, 2020
I was a little skeptical placing an order because I have never used this website, but after hearing a lot of good comments from other moms I decided to get it. Stroller is the EXACT same stroller at other large retail chains. I actually called BabyJogger because of a separate item and they suggested using albee baby! Fast shipping and item was perfect.
Pros
  • Fast shipping! Larger discount codes than offered via big name brand stores.
Best Uses
  • Two kiddos

City MINI GT 2 double
June 17, 2020
While stroller looks great and very stylish the only positive what I found is that it has magnetic windows and calf support. Fabric came bit stained with paint I think from manufacture which means it ll be hard to maintain clear whoever will have it. 2020 is a lot narrower including foot rest and it’s not as convenient for older kids as 2018 model which has deeper wider seats and wider foot rest and better wheels. 2020 changed wheels and changed the way it lock unlock wheels. I think baby jogger might have problem with that unlocking wheel feature because the stroller we got one wheel kept going into locked mode which made it impossible to turn stroller around and we tried stroller without kids on it and it was still sliding off. Albeebaby was kind enough to exchange it with older model and for that I will put 5 stars in BIzrate, but 2020 model didn’t impress me the way I thought it will, while it’s awesome to have separate belly bars it’s actually very price to buy them separately. I think baby jogger should either sell 2 bars for one price or like many other brands have stroller already come with those bars because it just increases child’s safety. Stroller looks cool n probably good for children below 2, but for older kids new model is uncomfortable. I don’t know what changes they made to make stroller heavier than 2018 model, if seats way too narrow and footrest is very small and not comfy. I’m waiting for mine 2018 model to use!!! It’s still on its way :)
Pros
  • Magnetic windows, calf support, bit easier to access underneath basket yet still not very open. Tray attaches directly to frame for each child and better variety for car seats to be used with stroller.
Best Uses
  • For children under 2.
Cons
  • Too narrow, smaller and slim seats. Even they it mentioned height didn?t change then the way canopy seat changed because older kids will bump into canopy, plus for children older than 2 if they a little bit chubby (not even a lot just tiny little) seat is not comfy enough, not enough room, not wide enough, foot rest is not comfortable at all, I don?t know who designed it but what did they think that child will have only 1 foot down? It?s ok for smaller kids but not for children older than 2. Fabric is very easy to stain and harder to clean. I think both models have equal soft seats. Still don?t understand if stroller was made but narrow yet back wheels are made wide which is what probably made stroller heavier. Smaller wheels and not as wide as previous model more like rubber wheels rather than air filled look although company states they are forever air filled but still different than 2018 model. Wheel lock more likely will bring parents with every other stroller an issue because of the way it?s made and might slight back into locked position. Older model locks by the looks look better

Best stroller
June 14, 2020
I bought the stroller when my kids were small. Nine years ago. I now bought the stroller for my brother and sister-in-law who are having their second baby. I couldn’t be more happy with it. Everything about its features is awesome. It’s easy to put together it’s easy to lift and it’s so comfortable for both kids. My favorite feature is the part where it lifts for their little legs. But because of it you can get into the storage space under the stroller. Whoever designed this had moms with two babies in mind. Oh and by the way on occasion I still use my stroller for my seven and eight-year-old. It’s so durable it has lasted all these years.

City Mini GT2
May 29, 2020
I did a lot of research when comparing side-by-side double strollers. For me, it had to have an adapter for my Britax B-Safe 35 infant carrier or it was automatically eliminated as a contender. I had it narrowed down to two (Britax B-Lively double and the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Duallie double), until Baby Jogger came out with the latest double model. Why didn’t I consider the earlier version? Well I did! I was very interested in the City Mini GT, but it was quickly eliminated as an option due to it not being compatible with my Britax infant car seat. (I really liked a the price that Albee Baby offers the earlier model and the fact you usually can find it on a flash sale offering an additional discount.)

I personally had to weigh the pros and cons between the three strollers for my own personal wants and needs. Unfortunately, there were some things that I didn’t know about the GT2 until I unpackaged and put it together. Unfortunately, during the pandemic I was unable to compare models in person at a store. However, most stores don’t offer the doubles in store, so pandemic or not this could have been an issue.

Overall, I am happy with my decision given minor personal flaws for the time period I will likely get use out of the double stroller. (My first born who is on the higher end of the growth percentile will turn four right before the arrival of my second. I know I will get a year’s worth of use and am hopeful for two.) If I could have a guaranteed two years or more use out of the stroller, I think I would have been able to justify the price tag of the BOB with all the accessories I needed.

It’s definitely going to be an inconvenience to not being able to use the accessories. Another inconvenience is the fact that the five-point completely disengages when the release button is pressed. With my Britax and BOB strollers, I’ve become accustomed to the shoulder and hip strap staying connected (with the option to completely separate them) to make buckling a cinch. I definitely prefer the harness on the Britax and BOB over the Baby Jogger. I fear that it’s going to be even more difficult piecing the harness together when trying to buckle a wiggling child. It’s definitely more time consuming than it should be! I’m also not a fan of having to rethread the straps to adjust the height of the straps. This is due to being spoiled with the easy, to thread adjustment to Britax and BOB offer.

Additionally, the one-hand recline will be missed as the GT2 requires both hands to recline. This makes me fear that a sleeping child may wake when I stop to recline the seat. Also stinks that I’ll have to stop my momentum in order to adjust the recline when a child falls asleep on our power walk.

Even though I could have used the child tray on the opposite side of the infant carrier on the Britax B-Lively (as it’s one piece that is guaranteed to work together at the same time), I think the all terrain wheels on the GT2 is more necessary for my long term needs. In all reality, it’ll be six months at most until the lack of usability of accessories is no longer an issue.

I am excited to have all terrain, all suspension tires without worrying about them going flat.

Another thing to know: You cannot hang items from the handlebar such as a diaper bag. I do not believe I read this in any other reviews I had read. I’m sure plenty of people do, and/or even use a mommy clip to hang items. I personally would be afraid that the extra weight would compromise the mobility of the adjustable features of the handlebar.

The basket is everything you will read about. I personally only use the underneath basket of strollers for small items (mostly toys that my child couldn’t live without but no longer wants to hold once a walk begins). I will totally need to retrieve these items from the side or front, but think I’ll be able to toss them in from the back while walking. I can also easily put my Ju-Ju-Be snack packs in the basket, again from the side.

Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. I think that it will meet my needs in any condition. However, if the Britax B-Lively double offered all terrain tires I would have preferred it for the money and my personal preferences. If my children were closer in age, I would have purchased the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 duallie double hands down. However, I probably also would have preferred to have a smaller double stroller such at the Baby Jogger or Britax models mentioned. I don’t think I would want to take the BOB everywhere, like for adventures that size would be an issue or shopping trips. The GT2 is definitely a nice looking stroller that has a super smooth stroll. In my personal opinion, the upgrades are definitely worth the increase in the price tag!

Pros
  • This newer model finally has a Britax infant adapter! (The earlier version of the double did not allow you to use a Britax carrier.)
  • Super easy to put together.
  • Smooth, one-hand push.
  • Large peek-a-boo window.
  • Breathable, mesh on the back (when the seat(s) are reclined).
  • Basket it easily accessible from the front. However, I?m not sure how well/easy to use the adjustable footrest is going to work.
  • Adjustable handlebar.
  • All terrain, but not air-filled, tires!
  • Hand brake on the side is easy to use and out of the way.
Best Uses
  • Walking - on any terrain
  • Shopping
  • It?s Disney Approved!
Cons
  • 5-point harness completely separates when the release button is pressed.
  • Have to completely rethread straps to adjust height. This in turn does not allow for a perfect height, as you will have to chose the hole that is closest to your child?s shoulder.
  • Cannot have the canopy installed, or fully extend the canopy on the opposite seat, when the Britax infant seat adapter is installed. Also, cannot use the child tray on the opposite seat either. (I predict the same case for the belly bar.)
  • The peek-a-boo windows are a plastic/vinyl-like material. I would have preferred the breathable mesh option.
  • Adjustable footrest has limited positions.
  • There?s not a double parent console made specifically for the double. (I purchased the BOB double console. It?s going to work good enough, but definitely does not fit this stroller the way it?s intended to fit the BOB).

Seems amazing so far
March 5, 2020
Baby #2 is not here yet so I haven’t had a chance to actually use the stroller, but I love everything so far. This is my second Baby Jogger stroller (had the single city mini gt for Baby #1) and the brand is fantastic. The quality is just top notch and this model has a few extra bells and whistles too. I love how I can clip in the Baby Jogger car seat, which we already had, with easy adapters for the newborn months. Magnetic windows, hand and foot brake, amazing maneuvering, and baby footrests!! I’m super excited to use this stroller!
Customer service with Albee Baby was great- I had originally ordered a different double stroller and they helped me to exchange it for this one. I also ordered the car seat adapter from Albee! Highly recommend!
