Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Kinetic Convertible Car Seat - Wonder Grey

Love the peg perego products, and (mostly) love this car seat.

The biggest pros: in addition to safety, the ergonomics and comfort. My kids are SO happy in it, and as a chiropractor parent, the WAY they sit in a car seat is hugely important to me. Of all the seats they’ve used, the position of their spines in this seat are by far the healthiest (for my kiddo’s bodies!)
Fabric is super easy to take off and wash (we have all cloth, no leather).

The cons: for the life of me, I could not get this seat secure with the seatbelt. We use the latch to install, which means there is a front facing 45lb limit. It also means it’s FAR less convenient to move around and take in and out. You need major muscle behind the latch to get them as tight as they need to be, so that it doesn’t move. This seat is amazing, if you plan to leave it where it is!

Side note: the other seat we have is the Britax Marathon. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how easy it is to install, move around, clean, etc. They are amazing. After experiencing how easy and functional the Britax was, I swore would never buy another Peg Perego! Though the chiropractor in me won, and I ate my words when it came time to get a convertible car seat for my second kid 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is our second Peg Perego car seat, after the infant Primo Viaggio recline one, and it lives up to the expectations of the first. Needing one for each car, we bought a Britax Emblem first thinking we’d double it if we liked it. However, we missed the quality and ease of the Peg Perego and came back to the brand, and opted for the wool one. The only downside is it is heavier and larger so the Britax will likely be the one we fly with (despite the fragility of its foam head wings). In rear facing, the passenger seat of our crossover SUV does not go very far back.

I bought 4 of these car seats 3 years ago for 4 of my kids. Overall I really like them. Adjusting the harness is super easy by simply adjusting the headrest. They are very easy to and get secure in my vehicle. They are aesthetically pleasing and also seem very comfortable, none of my kids complain about being in them compared to the Diono radians we also have. The main con is that the fabric has not held up well. I do not wash them very often, maybe once or twice a year so it’s not that but the leather parts of the seat have been cracked for well over a year now. I would expect better quality for this price point. Also they are advertised as being narrow but they are not at all. I have a Yukon XL and cannot fit 3 of these across in 1 row which is why we also have Diono radians. I did know that before purchasing because I measured so this is just a heads up for someone who might not actually put a tape measure to the inside of their vehicle. My kids also outgrew the height on them a lot faster than I expected them to (they’re not tall, all around the 40-50 percentile)

Daughter loves how comfortable it is and we love how safe it is. Went it comes to safety and conform you can’t beat something made in Italy.

I was scriptural to order off this site because of the reviews when you look it up but this car seat was out of stock EVERYWHERE except here and I really loved it so I went for it and I’m so glad I did it arrived within like 3 days it was exactly what I wanted in great condition the seat is so soft it has so many awesome safety features it was a bit complicating to figure out but that could just be me since it’s my first time getting a car seat lol but I do highly highly recommend this car seat and this site for any baby purchases because this is now my go to place for my baby items!

We have been using this car seat for the last seven months and it has held up beautifully. My one and a half year old has put this car seat through a lot with food, drinks, and potty training and we rave about it. It is so easy to take apart and wash and continues to look beautiful. The button to tighten the straps is a little difficult for me to pull sometimes but we love that we can adjust the headrest to his growing height. The leather makes it rupee easy to wipe clean and I know my little boy is always safe. I’ll be purchasing another when my newborn outgrows her infant car seat too.

We debated this seat against the Nuna Rava, both are in the same price category, have similar features and great reviews. Ultimately we went with Peg Perego because of the anti rebound bar which very few others offer in a convertible seat. We love it! It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and has the most advanced safety features available. It is also extremely comfortable for our baby, who spent over 50 hours in it on a cross country trip, who seemed very relaxed and at ease, with good body positioning and optimum angles. We are very happy with our purchase and Albee Baby offered the MOST competitive price on the market! Fast shipping too!

If you are thinking about it, don’t think anymore and buy it! I bought the Licorice and it looks so elegant and beautiful. My baby feels like a king on this carseat. The fabric is great, it cools down super fast and he sleeps better here than in his previous baby carseat. He could be sleeping for hours, god!!! This car seat saved my life, my son was always fighting sleep when I was driving. Now it’s a huge difference. Thank you

We have the infant car seat so decided to go with this convertible car seat as our next purchase. Just like the infant one it is easy to adjust and baby seems comfortable in it. So far all the Peg Perego products that we have gotten have been great and super easy to adjust and use.

After reading reviews of car seat products, we decided to go with Peg-Perego Convertible Kinetic . We were so pleased with our Peg-Perego car seat when we had our newborn and we're extremely satisfied to stick with the same brand. Installation was easy. This seat gives us total peace of mind that our child will be protected due to its quality craftsmanship. Even fits well in the backseat of my VW Jetta. It really is a beautiful, comfortable looking seat.

I love the extra feature of the anti rebound bar. This car seat is super nice quality. It’s definitely my favorite. I also have a graco extend2fit and a Chicco NextFit zip. The nextfit is easier to instal but this car seat is nicer overall.
